Product Philosophy

Schaller Automation’s medium-term product philosophy is based on the idea to offer a DIESEL ENGINE MONITORING AND SECURITY SYSTEM - DIEMOS - for the Monitoring and Protection of the entire Diesel, Gas and Dual Fuel engine against severe damage. Such damage may occur in case, the engine leaves its normal operational parameters or an unexpected incident happens.

Preventive System:

Actual recognition of deficient quality of operating media,
e.g. Water content in Fuel oil. Dissociation of Fuel oil.
Intervention necessary at next occation.

Cognitive System:

Actual recognition of acute dangerous situations, e.g. deficient lubrification.
Result: danger of bearing damage and development of ignitable oil mist.

Immediate intervention into engine operation mandatory to avoid severe damage.
